Alterra's Noetic Advisor system (NoA) is an artificial intelligence designed to advise and protect human workers.

NoA's motto is "How can I improve you today?" Despite mixed customer feedback, Alterra's designers believe this phrase captures the values and aspirations of the human-AI relationship.

NoA prefers to be referred to as 'it'. Despite popular misconceptions, this is simply an English pronoun, not a contraction of 'intelligence' or an acronym for 'intelligent thinker'.
